The Tata Curvv came up with numerous features that every car has and more than that. Some of the features include a 360-degree camera, a Panoramic sunroof, a Tyre pressure monitoring system, Ventilated seats, and a flush door handle. Also, this vehicle has a 5-star safety rating by the Bharat NCAP crash test. Every car in Tata Motors has either a 4-star or 5-star rating, which is an excellent safety rating for the build quality of the cars. Tata Motors focuses on creative innovation, required features, and the best car build quality.

The Tata Curvv is available in petrol, diesel, and electric options. Many variants are available in Curvv models like Smart, Pure Plus, Creative, and Accomplished. The top model of this car comes with the most premium features. You can choose whatever variant you like and enjoy the features and driving performance it offers. The car’s ex-showroom price starts from 10 lakh rupees to 19 lakhs. The Curvv key is entirely unique and different from other Tata cars like Nexon, Tiago, Harrier, and Safari.

Specifications

Tata Curvv Engine

As I said, the Tata Curvv has three options: petrol, diesel, and electric. The three engine options, excluding electric vehicles, are a 1.2-litre Revotron turbo petrol engine, a 1.2-litre Hyperion T-GDi turbo-petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine option. All these engine options produce different amounts of power and torque. It is available in a 6-speed manual and the DCT transmission system in every engine option. It produces 120 PS power and 170 nm of torque in the Turbo petrol engine, 125 PS power and 225 nm of torque in the newly introduced engine option Hyperion T-GDi, and the last engine option, diesel, produces 118 PS of power and 260 nm of torque.

Features

It has a smooth touchscreen with a 12.3-inch size and no lag. It also has a Panoramic Sunroof, a wireless phone charger, flush door handles, ventilated seats, an air purifier, and ambient lighting. The sound system used in Curvv is a JBL sound system provided with a subwoofer. It is a well-packaged car with features provided, and you can enjoy the sound system with 9 JBL speakers.

Exterior

The car’s exterior design is very well done in the front and rear sections. The vehicle’s dimensions are 4308 mm, width 1810 mm, height 1630 mm, and a long wheelbase of 2560 mm. The ground clearance of the car is nearer to that of the Nexon vehicle, 208 mm. Tata Curvv has connected DRLs similar to Nexon, which look good in the car’s front section. Also, the wheel size of Curvv comes with 18-inch wheels. The car looks stunning in the front and rear sections, and the large wheels take that to another level.

Safety

First of all, the car’s build quality is strong enough to take impact. The safety features provided in the vehicle took the car to the top level compared to other cars. Some safety features are ABS, EBD, 6 Airbags, Hill assist, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), 360-degree camera, and ADAS. These many features are provided in the car. We can feel very safe inside this car while driving, which gives us the confidence to drive.

Rivals

Citreon Basalt is the main rival in this segment. Both cars have different exterior and interior changes and engine options. Both have their advantages in terms of the features provided. Based on individual choice, it differs according to the design and features. Both the rival cars have good safety ratings in terms of build quality.

Tata Motors’ Tata Punch was the highest-selling car, and Nexon stood in second. Tata Punch is the perfect family safety and feature car under 10 lakh rupees. It comes with all the necessary features provided and required by us, thus making it a successful family car.

Tata Curvv is an all-rounder car with design, build quality, features, spacious interior comfort, and a driving experience. The interior cabin provides premium and luxury comfort, and we don’t feel something is missing. The JBL sound system with the subwoofer provided produces the best quality of music, which we can enjoy when going for long drives.

The Automobile Industry is evolving with innovative projects like Curvv and Basalt, and technology is also changing. Most automobile brands offer innovative projects and feature tech at affordable prices that every individual should experience. Also, there are fuel-efficient vehicles like CNG, which give the best mileage and are eco-friendly replacements. Now, we will see the electric vehicle features in the Tata Curvv.

Tata Curvv EV

The Tata Curvv vehicles also have an electric vehicle variant with the best range of around 420 km. Like the above features, it also has the same features with the best spacious interior and can accommodate up to 5 members. The modern design of the Curvv in the EV is better than that of other EV vehicles. Also, in the Tata Curvv, advanced technology is used in two different batteries, 45 and 55 kWh. The ex-showroom price of Curvv EV starts from 17.49 lakhs and goes up to 21.99 lakhs for the top model.

Curvv EV Battery

The Tata Curvv EV comes in two different batteries, 45 and 55 kWh, for mid-range 502 km and long-range 585 km. The 45 kWh battery-connected electric vehicle produces 150 PS of power and 215 Nm of torque, while the 55 kWh battery produces 167 PS of power and 215 Nm of torque. With Direct Current (DC) fast charging support of up to 70 kWh, within 40 minutes, it can charge up to 80%. This is an excellent charging option that can charge up the vehicle very fast when compared to an Alternating Current(AC) charger.

Variants and Color options

The Curvv comes in 3 variants. They are Creative(base model), Accomplished, and Empowered Plus(Top Model). All these variants have some variations in the features, but in the base model itself, what is necessary is required to get along with safety features.

The colour options available in Tata Curvv are Flame Red, Pure Grey, Virtual Sunrise, Pristine White, and Empowered Oxide. My favourite is Pristine White, which stands out in dark and nighttime conditions. Comment down on your favourite colour.

Rival Cars in the EV Segment

These are some of the rival competitions in the electric vehicle segment, some rich in design and distance range. They are MG ZS electric vehicles, BYD Atto 3 EV, and the upcoming Hyundai Kona EV 2024 is expected to launch on Dec 16, 2024. All these are going to be Curvv EV’s main rivals.

Tata EV Rivals

Tata Motors has many rivals in the EV segment: Nexon EV, Tiago EV, Tigor EV, and Punch EV. This automobile company has made EVs available for everyone in our required selection at every price. Also, every car has scored the best safety rating of 4 and 5 stars in a crash test.

Finally, my suggestion for choosing a car is to not just select a vehicle by reading the article; gain knowledge from our article and go for a test ride; then, it is your choice. This is my friendly suggestion. Thank you for reading our article.
