According to the RBI bank holiday calendar, up to 15 days of banks will remain closed in different states in September 2025.
The Reserve Bank of India(RBI) has created a holiday calendar that every bank in India follows. The holidays include Sunday, Second Saturday, Fourth Saturday, Religious Festivals, and local events. So, combining all these holidays, this September 2025 will have 15 days of holidays, including Sundays, Second Saturdays, and Fourth Saturdays.

While banks are physically closed on these holidays, Online banking services like Net Banking, ATMs, bank mobile applications, and UPI will be available. Customers can use these options to recharge, pay bills, and transfer money. Through ATMs, cash withdrawals, balance enquiries, and fund transfers can be made. You can buy and shop online with a quicker payment option through the UPI payment option. During these bank hoildays, you can do your financial transactions very smoothly and easily.
